Creative Visions
Sparrow Moon Studio is the result of artist Allison Lynn’s integration of creative exploration into product design and decades of artistic practice and image-making. Inspired by vintage scraps, a love of storytelling and the natural world, Allison’s practice spans installation, textile, sculpture, printmaking and mixed media. Attending OCAD-U and York University’s Fine Arts programs, Allison honed her skills while working on the development of her signature style.

She approaches art making with a visceral authenticity, high contrast, and a nod to history through the use of nostalgic ephemera and materials which would otherwise be discarded. Allison’s art and design work are infused with a spirit of the natural world, memory and connection to the land, and the responsibility we hold as stewards of our Mother the Earth.
The relationship between her Kanyen’kehá:ka and settler lineages features prominently in her visual explorations as she finds ways to connect and create a dialogue between the past, the present, and possible futures.
Parallel to her art practice, Allison is an elementary school teacher. A member of the Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte, she currently resides with her partner, four children, and dog in an 1860’s farmhouse on Simcoe Deed land, out of which Sparrow Moon Studio is run.

What types of crafts do you offer?
We offer a diverse range of stationery, including journals, note cards annd hand painted greeting cards, and fine art prints. We also offer unique paper craft and decorative items made from vintage and upcycled book pages such as repurposed paper garlands, envelopes, magnets and bookmarks.

You can purchase items directly from our external e-store powered through IndigenARTSY, where you can browse our collection, add items to your cart, and complete your purchase securely using various payment methods.
Do you host events or workshops?
Yes, we regularly host events and workshops that promote handmade arts and crafts. These events provide opportunities for learning, creativity, and community engagement, and are announced on our website and social media channels.
What is the return policy for purchased items?
